About Dr. Deepa Naik

Dr. Deepa Naik is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a specialist member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, practicing pediatric dentistry since 2007. While in dental school, Dr. Naik discovered her natural ability to communicate well with children and a special talent for making her patients feel comfortable during their dental visits. She places great emphasis on talking with her patients and building trusting relationships to help them feel at home. “My personal mission statement is to treat every patient that comes into my office as I would expect my own child to be treated.” Dr. Naik is an honors graduate of the University of California, San Francisco Parnassus Campus, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. During this time, she received the Outstanding Clinician Award and was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, which selects members based solely on merit and academic excellence in dentistry. Her passion for working with and for children led her to pursue advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry through a residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During this postdoctoral course, Dr. Naik trained at the prestigious Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, California, gaining extensive experience in all areas of children's dentistry, including care for medically, physically, and developmentally compromised children, victims of trauma, and hospital dentistry. Dr. Naik became board certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and was awarded Diplomate status, the highest honor in the specialty. Each year, she continues to study advances in pediatric dentistry and has completed numerous hours of continuing education in emergency and sedation dentistry. She also holds certifications in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Most relevant

The care for kids is done with chairs next to each other which was over stimulating . I was initially told my son would not sit for fillings so they wanted to put him under to do work at dells children. As a mom of a 6 year old the thought of putting him under was over welding . Got a second opinion and my child responded better in a private setting .
