WOW! I am not a fan of going to the dentist but this was the best experience I have ever had. Dr. Levitt is thorough and identified the problem I was having immediately. He also made suggestions on what I should have done with no immediate intention to do it right away. I highly recommend Dr. Levitt. His staff is amazing!

Dr. Daniel B. Levitt is a highly skilled and experienced general dentist serving patients throughout the New York metro area at his practice in Whitestone. He also serves as an Attending Staff member and the Division Chief for the Medically Complex Patient Clinic at North Shore University Hospital. Dr. Levitt was just recently awarded "Teacher of the Year" in 2011 by residents at North Shore, and was also honored for his 20 years of service to the dental department.
Dr. Levitt first received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from SUNY Stony Brook, before graduating with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry. In 1995, he became a Fellow of the American Academy of General Dentistry and has since provided exceptional care to patients at his Whitestone practice.
In addition to his practice duties, Dr. Levitt also has special knowledge and interest of forensic studies, and has served as a Forensic Dental Consultant for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of New York City since 1997. He is also a member and Past President of the New York Society of Forensic Odontology, and an associate member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. He assisted in identifying the remains of victims from the World Trade Center after 9/11.

As a person who hates going to the dentist, and I'm probably not alone, this visit was extremely pleasant. This was my first time here, and everyone I spoke with was courteous, professional, and friendly. In a doctor's office, this is really all you can/should hope for. Would recommend to anyone.
