The staff(including the statuesque receptionist)were very helpful with the whole first-time-patient-at- their-practice-situation. The doctor was not judgmental, and did her best to address the situation in a short amount of time, as well as putting together a treatment plan quickly. If time is not on your side, and/or the dentist freaks you out, this is one to call.

Dr. Zaman was great. She was very personable and I felt comfortable with her. I like the fact that I could schedule my appointment after-hours online with Zoc-Doc. I live kind of far from the office but it's worth the drive.

Dr. Deena Zaman (DDS) founded Designing Smiles after treating thousands of patients during her eight years of dental practice. She is a graduate from the University of Texas Dental Branch and was one out of 200 students nationwide accepted to the general dentistry residency at Memorial Hermann Hospital. Dr. Zaman's early experience treating medically compromised patients and those with special needs in a hospital setting helped shape her Designing Smile's patient centered approach. Dr. Zaman's passion for dentistry keeps her well versed with the latest dental skills and techniques. Dr. Zaman's specializes in working with those who are fearful of dental treatment and is an expert at putting healthy smiles on children's faces. Dr. Deena, her husband, Ali and their two daughters enjoy living and working in Houston, Texas.
Sandra Gonzalez ensures that our patients are comfortable and receive quality care. Drawing from her seventeen years of experience as a dental assistant, she establishes a positive treatment environment for our patients. Sandra's unique approach is especially effective while working with children. She is especially skilled at extractions making the procedure a smooth and easy experience. She has lived in Houston all of her life and has two boys a daughter and she is a grandmother.
