I don't think I ever got my teeth cleaned that fast in my life. If you're the type of New Yorker who's short on time, I'd suggest going to her. Be warned though it was uncomfortable, but definitely impressively fast.

I was rather disappointed in my overall experience-- and this is after having been to see Dr. Agilina twice.
First off, Dr. Agilina is no longer on Delancey Street, but is in mid-town. She needs to update that in ZocDoc ASAP.
Next, her beside manner and her ability to explain procedures was aweful. In the middle of my cavity filling she left the room twice without saying anything. That does NOT include the other two times that she got up from her chair to adjust the A/C. She was clearly distracted and not focused on the patient in front of her.
Not only did she seem distracted, she was also very condescending, unsympathetic, late, and somewhat rude. When I asked her about why my gums were bleeding, she responded, with "You need to come to the dentist more often." That is not an appropriate answer as to why my gums are bleeding. I then asked her again, and she responded with, "Because there is plaque build up which is causing inflammation..." Why couldn't she have explained that to me the first time I asked?
In addition to Dr. Agilina, the dental assistant seemed rather incompetent. Her ability to take my X-rays with efficiency and correct positioning seemed lacking, and her skills on the computer were rather slow making the overall x-ray process tenuous when it really didn't have to be.
I do not plan to come here ever again.

I have to say that Dr. Agilina is an amazing and the best dentist I've been to. She's real with her patients. She doesn't do work that isn't necessary. She truly cares about her patients and wants what is best for their mouths. I completely trust her with my teeth!
Highly recommended and you'll never search for another dentist after becoming a patient of Dr. Agilina. ;)

Had bad experience here. Had cavity filled and likely in process traumatized tooth. Most likely will need root canal to fix. Very sad about this

She tried to up sell into a more expensive procedure that I really did not need. She also did some odd billing procedure that had to do with her billing my insurance more.
Will not be going back, I feel that this was all about how to make as much money as possible. Happy I asked the right questions so I did not get trapped with paying for something I did not need!
Dental assistant was quite friendly! Sadly, the reviews on here that I based my choice of dentist off of was no help in the long run.

I didn't have a dentist in NYC because I just moved here (and just recently learned to take advantage of dental insurance), so I read good reviews of Dr. Agilina on this site and they were true. She was very thorough and explained every step of the way everything I needed done, and did it all in one sitting without having to wait long periods of time or make a follow up appointment. Both she and her assistant were very pleasant and fun to talk to as well. I'll definitely be going back to her again.

Elena was great. She explained each step of the consultation and gave me options before proceeding to do anything. She showed me the x rays and explained where the infection was. she was also helping in covered the admin aspect of the consultation (prescription, where to go, invoice and claim). And most importantly, I was able to have an appointment urgently!

I love my new dentist, Dr. Agilina. Being new to the NYC area, I was a little skeptic about finding a new dentist, being as though I've had the same dentist since childhood. She and her staff are always very warm and welcoming. I absolutely hate dental visits because my teeth are so sensitive. Dr. Agilina is very professional and tries her best to make your visit as painless as possible. I highly recommend anyone to come to her.

I went in for a routine check-up and was very happy to find a clean office with a very friendly staff. The dentist was through during the examination, and did a very good job explaining what was happening in my mouth. My mouth felt wonderful when I left the office.

Everything was great except the cleaning. The doctor and dental hygenist were extremly nice and made me feel very comfortable. The cleaning however was very messy and a little painful. Maybe I'm used to my fabulous dentist at home, but they didn't floss or really take there time. Not sure if I'll return. I do however like that she offers late hours, I was able to get an appointment three days in advance at 6:15pm.

New, clean office with a nice spacious waiting room. You could tell just how new it is because the dentist had some trouble locating tools and getting machines to work, but no significant delays. Would definitely recommend them for a cleaning and routine check up. I am going back for fillings next month, so they made me feel comfortable enough for a follow up appointment, which is more than I can say for the last dentist!
