I found Dr. Evan Melamed on Zocdoc after moving to Houston and needing a teeth dentist. It's probably the best one I've been to, and everyone is very nice. I've now had my teeth cleaned twice and needed a crown for a fractured tooth. All visits have been seamless, easy and my teeth are in good care.

Dr. Evan Melamed, “Dr. Evan,” completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, then graduated from the University of Texas Dental School Branch – Houston in 1999. Since then he has been dedicated to providing the highest level of dental care to his patients, including general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Evan stays current with the latest technological advancements and clinical methods in dentistry by attending continuing education courses with the renowned Hornbrook and Dawson groups. He is a member of several professional societies, including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
Dr. Evan’s commitment to patient comfort and satisfaction make him a favorite in the office with his patients as well as his fellow team members. When appropriate, collaboration with highly skilled specialists is of paramount interest in each of his treatment plans.
Dr. Evan spent his earliest years in South Africa, and moved to Houston at a young enough age to sound like the long-time Houston resident that he is. When not at work he enjoys family life with his wife Robin and their two sons, Max and Jake, who keep him busy on the basketball court, the baseball diamond and the soccer field. He and his family find time to participate in fund raising events, like Run for the Rose, and the Friendship Circle.

I have been to many dentists and Dr. Melamed is the best. I have now been a patient of his for over 10 years. He has a great bedside manner and always explains things in a way that I can understand and is very pragmatic in his recommendations. I have recommended him to all of my friends and family and they have all been very happy.

Dr. Melamed is a gifted dentist, especially skilled at restorations and cosmetic dentistry. He has created a beatiuful - renewed and natural -smile for me. I have required extensive work from the typical aging of older fillings and crowns. Dr. Melamed's precise care has also helped maintain the integrity of my jawbone structure. Couldn't be more pleased with the results.
