Dr D and Susan (dental hygenist) are always a pleasure to go see. Fast, efficient and good at what they do. Dr D is like a family friend who happens to do dentistry! Oh, wait, he IS a family friend! Great dentist who plied his trade in the military for a long time so he's had plenty of practice and knows how to get things done quickly for you.

More about Dr. George Daszko, DDS
Born May 25, 1947 in Aschaffenburg, Germany of Ukrainian parents Irena and Petro, who were waiting in various displaced persons (DP) camps for emigration visas to the US. In December of 1949 my parents took all their belongings and fortune ($2) across the Atlantic by way of the s.s. Gen. Langfeet, a Navy troopship, landing at Ellis Island. We ended up in Chicago where my father found work as a baker and my mother did factory work and later was a janitress in downtown Chicago. They sent my sister and me to a parochial grade school, St. Nicholas. I chose to go to a public high school, Lane Tech where I graduated 6th in a class of 1,246 in 1965. I started college at UICC but ended up in the US Army where I served for 3 ½ yr as a med lab tech. Discharged in 1971 with a wife Joanne and a daughter, Denise then 3 years old. Back in Chicago, I finished college and dental school at UICC where I received my DDS in 1978.
I served in the Army again this time as a dentist at Ft. Hood, TX. In 1981 we returned to Chicago again where I opened a practice in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood, where I practiced until 2002. After selling all our property we moved to Spicewood, TX (home of Willie Nelson). I found that retirement was not for me (too expensive), so I went back to dentistry, first for Omni Dental, later for myself.
I opened my practice here in Oakhill at the Y at Peachtree Office Center on January 1, 2008. We have now been here for about 6 years and life is good! I have an excellent staff of 3, Susan, Angie, and of course, my wife Joanne. We have been well received by the community and we plan to be here a long time.

I waited awhile to be seen. He did not have good bedside manner at all. His assistant was unwelcoming and very rude. I will not be going back there ever again. I walked out of my appointment after he raised his voice at me and told me I was obnoxious rude and I needed to act like an adult. All with other patients in the room.
