Dr. Gloria Clarke is one of the most respected and admired dentists in Atlanta. Recently inducted into the prestigious Hinman Dental Society, the International College of Dentists and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry since 1985, Dr. Clarke continues to deliver outstanding dental services to her patients at Greenbriar Dental Care. The practice originally opened in 1983, and she acquired it in 2000. Dr. Clarke often jokes many of her patients are children and grandchildren of original patients in the practice, but the internet continues to drive our growth as people have much more power to make informed decisions. Our goal is to make every patient’s experience a pleasant one! Since purchasing the practice, Dr. Clarke has remained focused on continuing education, staff development and investing in the latest technology to deliver high quality dentistry. She recently completed a mini-residency in implant dentistry and also invests in training her team members. Dr. Clarke is equally as passionate when it comes to giving back to the community. She just celebrated the fifth anniversary of Atlanta’s Dental Angels, a charity event that she sponsors annually at Greenbriar Dental Care. More than 500 people have received dental treatments during this day of free dentistry. Dr. Clarke organizes an army of volunteer dental professionals to support this amazing day of giving back to the community. Dr. Clarke has become well know for the annual event, and lines start forming in the early morning hours. In addition, she also volunteers monthly at Ben Masell Dental Clinic, Atlanta’s free dental clinic.
A native of New York, NY, Dr. Clarke graduated from Hofstra University in 1979 and obtained her dental degree from Howard University in 1983.

All the office staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks. I was in the chair a long time and therefore appreciated the piped-in music; it was soothing and semi-classical, just right for an "older" patient like me. But, continuing in the "older" vein, my hearing is not as good as it once was, and the voices of chair-side workers come through their facemasks a bit muffled; I am sometimes not sure what they are asking me to do.

They have a new technique they use, which creates a little vibration in your mouth while giving you the anesthesia (needles). You have no idea how much I hate needles!
I typically need two shots given the sensitivity in my mouth. I barely felt either of the needles!!!

I went to Dr. Clarke today with a dental emergency. A took had broken due to a cavity. My right side of my mouth was in pain. I called 2 dentist I have on stand-by and despite my discomfort neither could see me. Dr. Clarke came highly recommended. I called her office, they gave me a morning appointment. I like most people don't like going to the dentist. From start to finish they were warm, professional, she fixed 2 of my teeth, and it was a wonderful experience.

Dr. Clarke was cool, but everyone in the office was warm and inviting, especially one of the dental assistants -- I think her name was Brittany, I don't know. Really, even with all my fears and insecurities surrounding the dentist, they made my return inevitable.

Dr. Clarke did not communicate what she was doing and what the costs would be beforehand, and her attitude seemed annoyed when I asked questions.
On the upside, she discounted services because of the long wait time.

Although I had other intersted for informational purposes, all I wanted was my teeth cleaned and they didn't clean my teeth. Left there and went to another dentist to get my teeth cleaned. Everyone was nice, but my appointment was for a teeth cleaning, at least do what the customer came in for.
