About Dr. Maheshvar Patel
Dr. Patel is a Georgia native who earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry. After graduating from NYU, he returned to his home state to begin his dental career.
Dr. Patel remains actively involved in the local community by participating in community fairs and supporting charity organizations. In his spare time, he volunteers at the Good Samaritan Clinic of Cobb in Marietta.
He is happily married to Shivani Patel. When he’s not working, Dr. Patel enjoys playing golf, bowling, painting, cheering on Atlanta sports teams (Falcons, Braves, Hawks), barbecuing, and spending time with family and friends. He values being part of private practice and appreciates the opportunity to build meaningful relationships within the local community.

Would not recommend. It was super sales like and unlike any other dentist I have ever been to. They took my x-rays and told me my teeth look great, then suddenly came out sheet of paper that my “recommended plan of treatment” would cost me an additional several hundred dollars out pocket for a standard cleaning? Never heard of this. I refused the service and walked out. Do not go here

Front desk was friendly, but totally unprofessional and violation of my privacy to continually misgender me including the dentist, yell across the office about me transitioning from female to male and to ask questions about how much it cost for my transition. I couldn't believe this even after explaining my gender, name and preferred pronouns in the booking info online as well with the receptionist over the phone.

The whole experience was wonderful. My previous dentist office's staff was not friendly. They didn't smile and walking into the office felt gloomy. Everyone in this office were so nice and had great customer service skills. The office itself was nice and clean as well. There was no wait time. They got my daughter and I in and out in spectacular timing. As a busy mom this was very important to me as well. There was a clear explanation everything that was being done and the information was explained to me in a way that I can comprehend. This office had the best customer service skills I have experienced at a dentist office.

THE BEST DENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I was a little concerned when I pulled up because the office is in a residential neighborhood in the Buckhead area but my concern was quickly resolved by the office when I got there. They had more than adequate parking in the rear of the office. Upon entering the office, I noticed a gorgeous waiting area that looked and smelled amazing. I was greeted by the office Manager who followed up with before my appointment to get my information in before I got there. The hygienist did a very good job informing me of the current state of my dental health and what I needed to do to keep it that way including a discussion about my toothbrush which has never happened before. She even took that time to look up the best option for me. Lastly Dr. Patel finished with an examination and consultation. I'm sorry for not remembering the staff's names but the receptionist, x ray technician and dental hygienist were all professional, knowledgeable and amazing. GOOOO!!!

Highly highly recommend! I had wisdom toothache for 5 days and had seen another dentist who did nothing about it but suggesting that I have it removed. Glad to be able to book an appointment with Dr Patel through Zocdoc 2 days before my international business trip. The nurses are so friendly and helpful. They did everything to make me less nervous. Even a hand massager! I was not expecting and prepared for removing the wisdom tooth this time but definitely the right thing to do and it’s done by the right dentist!oh, plus, they are in a cute house and they don’t charge you for parking!

I recently visited Smile Forever for a dental cleaning, X-rays, and a fluoride treatment, and it was a fantastic experience. The hygienist was so kind and patient, especially since I tend to have trouble with gag reflexes during X-rays. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. The dentist was also great—he took the time to thoroughly review my X-rays and explain everything in detail, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant visit, and I will definitely be coming back!

If you not using smile forever altanta you need to change your dental hygienist. The staff is wonderful. They make you feel I comfortable the moment you walk in the door. I m not lying when I say they are super gentle when they get in your mouth.

I honestly am petrified of the dental office, the smell of drilling just everything however when I stepped in this location I did not smell a dentist office it was nice and inviting. The front staff made a really great impression from the time I scheduled over the phone till the time I left. The Dr. greeted me and offered refreshment.

Their numerous great interest review gave me the initial confidence to call them for an appointment and it was a great experience from them on.

The best dental office I have been to in my life! I love how they teach you everything from your first visit all the way to your follow up visit. They definitely care the most about your oral health. They are very friendly & warm to new patients & frequent patients. I feel like a part of their family! The staff and dentist work very well together. I would give them a 6 star rating if possible.
