Katy Dental Director, Dr. Gokay Goktug received his DDS degree from Ankara University School of Dental Medicine in 1996 in Turkey, and served two years in the military as a dentist. He then worked at dental hospitals before opening his own private practice in Turkey. As an expert in his field, he regularly attended international congress meetings and symposiums in Europe and the USA.
After 12 years of private clinic experience, Dr. Goktug received his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Periodontics (Periodontology) from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2012. He also completed a Master of Science degree at Professor Dr. Frank Oppenheim Saliva Laboratory, which is well-known for saliva research clinic around the word.
He practiced as a full-time periodontist at Dorchester House Multi-Service Clinic (DotHouse Health Center) in Boston between 2012 and 2018, mentoring and training externship students, until moving to Houston in 2018.
