Dr. Gunita Pahwa Kalra was born and raised in New York where she received her bachelor of science in Biology from Adelphi University and continued on to New York University for her degree in dentistry. Dr. Kalra has also completed a general practice residency at Jamaica hospital; a level one trauma center.
Dr. Kalra loves working with patients of all ages, her favorite part of practicing dentistry is educating her patients about the importance of oral health and changing their outlook about dental visits by providing painless high quality treatment. Dr. Kalra is proficient in restorative treatments, root canals, surgical care, and all phases of general dentistry.
Dr. Kalra recently relocated to the northern Virginia area after getting married this past June. When Dr. Kalra is not working she loves spending time with her family and friends, she also enjoys traveling to new places with her husband and trying new foods.

Dr. Kalra is amazing! She is very professional and explained exactly what she was doing each step of the way. It put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. I usually hate dental appointments, but my experience with Dr. Kalra was so different and new. She definitely cares for her patients and that will keep me coming back. Also the staff were so friendly and welcoming.
