I take a vested interest in my patients’ needs and concerns in order to provide them with the utmost quality of care. I ensure that my patients are comfortable and they understand the treatment being provided. I take great pride in the state-of-the-art equipment and technology that I use in order to provide the best possible treatment available.
I believe it is extremely important to keep up with new techniques and technology to best care for my patients. In addition to my education, I also have advanced training in both dental implants and aesthetic dentistry. I am an Invisalign® provider and take continuing education courses in all aspects of dentistry.
When I’m not with my patients, I enjoy spending time with my wife Stephanie, our children Graham, Blake, and Kiera. My hobbies include biking, weight training at the gym, traveling, and relaxing on the beach with a good book.

I absolutely love being a client at Central Park West Dental and would choose them over any other dentist in the city. Even though their office is not convenient for me (in terms of where I live and work), I happily travel to them each time I have an appointment because it is worth it. Dr. Shipper is the absolute best dentist there is - he truly cares about your wants and needs and takes the time to ask how you are and explain every procedure / answer any questions that you might have. I trust him with all procedures and always know that everything will turn out perfectly once I have seen him. I would recommend Dr. Shipper and the staff at Central Park West Dental to everyone looking for a top-notch dentist in NYC (and beyond).

I am not one who loves going to the Dentist, but, I recently went in for a cleaning and a filling and all I can say is it was a great experience. The cleaning was more than thorough, the Hygienist did a fantastic job. The filling was smooth and painless. This place is as good as it gets! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and I felt very cared for. I am looking forward to my next cleaning! Who looks forward to tooth care? I do now!
