About Dr. Eric Chason
Eric Chason, DDS, is a cosmetic and general dentist practicing at Rockefeller Dentristry and Madison Dental Spa located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. He has a high standard of excellence in personalized dental care.
Dr. Chason graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and continued his training by completing a general practice residency at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York City.
Dr. Chason provides a welcoming and calming chairside experience for his patients and focuses on preventative treatments and patient education. He is passionate about cosmetic dentistry and has impacted many patients’ lives by enhancing their smiles and overall confidence through the smile makeover procedure. With his attention to detail and aesthetic eye, Dr. Chason has created many individualized, beautiful smiles over the years, working alongside master ceramist Peter Kouvaris.
Dr. Chason is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Chason enjoys skiing, playing basketball, and rooting for his undergraduate alma mater, the University of Michigan (Go Blue).

I never went to this doctor office at the first place and I canceled appointment, as his assistant or whoever was texting me in regards to this appointment, was very blurry and not wanting to confirm me about the prices, and what they charge for, and what my insurance covered and what not... they said it is copay and don't explain if certain amount per filling includes insurance cost already or not or if I pay this amount for 1 filling out of pocket. It seems a bit overpriced and the assistant ignored my question in regards to how they bill you ( with insurance or not )

Best dentist experience! Dr. Chason was so professional, patient, empathetic, and he explained everything in advance and took all my specific needs in consideration.
His assistant, Amaya, made me feel relaxed and calm and she was so kindhearted. She also let me know how much it was going to cost out of pocket.
They’re both very good at what they do and I highly recommend them, especially if going to the dentist is a stressful experience for you because this was as nice of a dentist appointment as I’ve ever had.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Chasen. I have never had a dentist who is so clear in communication, listened to all my concerns and was open to trying to work with me about my preferences regarding procedures. As a very nervous dental patient, his calm and positive energy made me feel so much better. I have truly never seen a dentist that made me feel comfortable, calm and ready to proceed. Maybe even excited to start getting my problems dealt with. I am relieved to say the least.

Dr. Chason is absolutely wonderful. Incredibly compassionate and though dental work is most people’s (including me) nightmare - but Dr. chason is so aware of the pain and discomfort and does everything to mitigate any discomfort. He’s open and walks you through everything step by step. Thanks to Dr. Chason, I am no longer intimidated by serious dental procedures, knowing Dr. Chason is genuinely passionate about what he does - he is remarkable. No matter how big or small your dental issue is, I can tell you that Dr. Chason is tuned in and his only aim is to make you feel good, free from pain, and leaving with a smile that gives you confidence and makes you feel great.
