Dr. Medina was wonderful. I was very nervous starting off but Dr. Medina explained the procedure fully, listened to my concerns and put me totally at ease, I would highly recommend Dr. Medina. The staff at the office were also very pleasant and accommodating.

Pros: Sidney the dental hygienist was lovely and Dr. Medina was nice and professional. I’ll definitely go back.
Cons: The people on the phone were a bit testy because I mistakenly gave them the wrong insurance number but we’re friendly once I arrived. A second doctor, Dr. Papdakis I believe, was brought in who had more expertise related to my specific procedure - he tapped me on the shoulder and asked me to open my mouth, didn’t introduce himself, completed his portion and left - that exchange was very cold and functional.

HE THEN COMPLETED HIS GENERAL DENTAL RESIDENCY AT OUR LADY OF MERCY HOSPITAL IN THE BRONX, NEW YORK. HE THEN FURTHERED HIS EDUCATION BY COMPLETING A 3 YEAR IMPLANT DENTISTRY AND ADVANCED BONE GRAFTING COURSE AT NYU COLLEGE OF DENTISTRY.

Dr. Medina has been my dentist for about 5 years. It took me a long time to find him. He's always upbeat and especially careful not to cause any pain unless absolutely unavoidable, which is more than I can say from some of the dentists I've experienced in the past. Today's appointment was a bit of an emergency (a crown fell out). Despite a full schedule, he managed to squeeze me.

For a person who despises Dentists from childhood horror procedures Doctor Medina is the one to see. Very calming ans will let you know what you should expect. Still hate going to the dentist but Dr Medina makes it tolerable.

I went to Dr. Medina with a toothache. He quickly diagnosed the problem and my pain diminished even before I left the office. I am a long time patient of Dr, Medina - I searched for a good dentist for several years before I found him. He's one of the best dentists I've ever had and I hate dentists! Everyone wore masks and there was only 1 other person in the waiting room while I was there and she was waiting for her partner to pick her up, so I think they are spacing out the appointments so that we can maintain social distancing.

Dr. Medina is the best! He's very friendly and explains everything thoroughly. Honestly the best dentist I've had and I've been going to him for years now. Usually, the wait time is only a few minutes, but if the office is busy, it can be much longer.

I usually do not like to go to dentists but this was the best dental appointment I had. From the secretary at the front desk to the dental hygienist to the dentist, everybody was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. I even recommended my husband to come here and he loved it.

Doctor Medina is very professional and makes you feel like you knew him since your first tooth popped up. I was using a dentist in my home town (6 hours away) and was hesitant to switch to a dentist in NYC. I have been going to Dr. Medina for over a year now and I don't plan on changing! Dr. Medina is a fabulous dentist. I have had to have a root canal and a few fillings done over the past month and Dr. Medina (and the amazing staff of the office) put me at ease immediately. I had a painless root canal (that was QUICK!) and have had wonderful visits. Need a dentist? Go see Dr. Medina!

He took his time to hear my concerns and addressed them. I came in with a front tooth that looked horrible. It was chipped from my previous dentist with a drill machine after fixing a filling adjacent to the one he butchered. But not here he fixed it and made it look brand new. Took care of the old filling too. Medina was gentle and felt no pain during the filling and fileing.

Like most people, I hate going to the dentist. Dr. Medina makes it bearable because he somehow manages to make it painless. I've been to other dentists where even getting a crown hurt. There is a bonus too, his wonderful dental nurse, Liesel, gives your jaw and sides of your face a nice massage when you've had your mouth open for a while! They are genuinely interested in your well being.

I have had sweet dentists in the past, but Dr. Medina wasn't only pleasant to be seen by he was also incredibly thorough. He walked me, patiently, through what he saw, what needed to be done, and what he recommend. He was amazing and after seeing me he didn't just go back to his office, he was very much involved with each person I dealt with after seeing him ensuring I was well looked after. Not that the team needed directing at all but it was very comforting.
