More about Dr. Isabel Perez, DDS
Dr. Perez was born in Medellin, the birthplace of world-renowned Colombian painter and sculptor Fernando Botero. Dr. Perez grew up in Cali and studied dentistry at the Universidad Autonoma in scenic Manizales. After graduating, she completed a year of social service providing oral health education and dental services to low-income people in rural and urban underserved areas. After that, she worked as an associate dentist in Cali, and later made the move to Miami, Florida in early 2001 to begin General Practice Residency in dentistry. Dr. Perez served as Chief Resident of Jackson Memorial Hospital in affiliation with the historic University of Miami, and studied with special emphasis on implants, oral surgery and treatment of disabled children, as well as medically compromised patients.
Upon moving to Seattle in the summer of 2003, Dr. Perez worked as an associate dentist. After delivering her twin girls in August of 2005, she returned from maternity leave and joined the Accent Dental family. Dr. Perez has an extra-special touch with her patients, especially when treating children. She also brings the Differential Straight-Arch Technique (or the Tip-Edge System) to our practice, which is a fixed orthodontic technique.
In her free time, Dr. Perez enjoys taking care of her two little angels and spending time with her husband.
