His Hygienist, Dena was Fantastic ! Very thurough, informative, and could answer technical questions regarding dentistry. It was nice to have that level of understanding with the staff working on your mouth rather than it only being with the Dentist!

Everyone in the office were warm and friendly. Made me feel very comfortable. Dr.Vason took his time with the examination and made sure I was clear on instructions and explanations. He also came up with a next step that was appropriate for my needs.(bonus: charming and good looking as well!)

Dr. Hamilton Vason (Hamp) grew up in Atlanta. A long-time family friend, Dr. Kenneth Grubbs, inspired him to become a dentist. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in microbiology, Dr. Vason attended Emory Dental School and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1980. He then served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps in beautiful Naples, Italy. He has been in private practice in Atlanta since 1984.
Dr. Vason and his wife, Nancy, have been married for 30 years. Nancy coordinates payroll and provides administrative support for the practice. They have two children, Betsie, who is in her fourth year at the University of Virginia, and Carlisle, a senior at The Westminster Schools.
Outside of the office, he loves traveling, hiking, and fly fishing. He reunites with dental school friends from Emory every year at the Corps of Discovery dental meeting in Montana, with fly fishing as an added attraction.
Dr. Vason is a devoted UGA football fan. He coached youth Little League baseball and youth basketball for years at Northside Youth Organization and Peachtree Presbyterian Church, where he is a member.

Dr. Vason and his staff were absolutely wonderful. Everyone from the receptionist to the dental assistant (Jennifer) to Dr. Vason himself were so kind and made my visit a very pleasant one. From the 3 people I interacted with, it's very evident that the staff loves what they do. I would highly recommend this practice.
