For having to have to go to the Dentist, it was awesome. I was taken back right away and the Lady that took my X-rays was kind, gentle and professional. I would recommend Dr. Lloyd to anyone that is looking for a Dentist with excellent bedside manner, spends as much time with you as you want and thoroughly explains what all needs to be done in future visits. In my case, I have a lot of work to be done. He offered to prepare a list of what all we discussed that needs to be done, in priority order and let me decide when and what I want done that will fit into my budget. Absolutely no pressure! Lucy scheduled my next appointment and explained that she will get information together that might assist me with financing.

Dr. James Lloyd has been in practice for over sixteen years in the Memorial area. He is a graduate of South West Texas State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston and subsequently a Masters degree in Advanced General Dentistry from the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio. Dr. Lloyd has maintained close ties with his alma mater and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UTDB, a part-time position he has held for over ten years.
Dr. Lloyd has completed a preceptorship in Dental Implants and obtained fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. His current memberships include the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has been recognized with numerous awards including the Leadership Award in Teaching.
Dr. Lloyd is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time with his three sons, David, Mark, and James, and his wife Lisa.
