Dr. Burrell received her doctorate degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1985. After completing a General Practice residency at the Manhattan VA Medical Center, she returned to New York University where she received her specialty certificate from the Postgraduate Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics. Her training continued at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where she completed a Fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. Dr. Burrell has taught Prosthodontics as an Associate Clinical Professor at both New York Presbyterian and Lenox Hill Hospitals. She has been a member of various professional organizations that include the OKU Dental Honor Society, the Northeast Gnathologic Society.
As a Prosthodontist, Dr. Burrell is capable of handling highly complex dental restorative problems using time- honored prosthodontic principles and cutting edge technology. She maintains a comprehensive dental hygiene program where each patient’s risk for decay and periodontal disease is carefully assessed and monitored. All care is delivered with greatest concern for the patient’s comfort and satisfaction by her office staff, dental hygienists, and licensed massage therapist. Dr. Burrell and her professional team always consider your social, physical, and esthetic concerns in order to determine an optimal course of care and provide the support you need to maintain a healthy and beautiful smile throughout your lifetime.
