Just meeting Dr. Jeong you can instantly tell that she loves making people smile. How truly fortunate for both herself and her patients that she has been able to turn this natural talent into her profession!
Dr. Jeong was born in South Korea and came to the U.S. in 2003. She completed the Pre-Dental Program at Indiana University at Bloomington, in 2005. Dr. Jeong went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2009. She has brought her upbeat personality and dedication to all of her endeavors and has been rewarded with academic honors throughout her education.
Dr. Jeong has always been active in the community and has participated in general dentistry externships at both the Philadelphia VA Hospital (November 2008) and York Hospital (January 2009). She also completed a one-year General Practicioner Residency Program at York Hospital in York, PA (June 2009-June 2010) where she provided comprehensive dental care to both children and adults. Dr. Jeong has also volunteered with PCCY--a non-profit organization that helps to ensure that children receive access to essential dental care--as both an intern during dental school in 2006 and also as a general dentist for Give Kids a Smile Day (2011 & 2012) providing free exams, cleanings, fluoride, and sealants to children of low-income families.
Dr. Jeong has worked in the Philadelphia metro area since August 2010. She takes a gentle approach to her treatment and understands the importance of truly listening to each patient's concerns and expectations in order to get the best results.
When she is not making the world brighter one smile at a time, Dr. Jeong enjoys spending time with her husband, three dogs, and a cat in her University City home.

Excellent dentist!!!! I have seen her couple of times in past 2 months. I even started bringing My kids to her. She is the best dentist I have ever been to in my entire life. Awesome bedside manner. She explains everything in terms you can understand and has a lot of patience. When performing dental work she is concerned about your comfort and will make sure your don't feel any pain.

I had not been to a dentist in a few years. Actually, I did not care for my former dentist & I was looking for a new one when a co-worker of mine recommended Dr. Jeong. Immediately when I met her, I liked her. She has a natural way of putting people at ease right away. I was a bit dismayed that she did find a cavity - my first since I was a teenager! But she was very gentle & I didn't feel a thing. I will definitely be keeping my regular cleaning visits from now on & I am happy to have found someone that I can entrust my smile to!
