About Dr. Roland Biron
Dr. Roland Biron believes that patients always come first. He takes time to sit with each to learn about their goals, expectations, and even their fears, and then they discuss together how to get to the end result.
When Dr. Biron joined in 2009 as Simply Beautiful Smiles’ first oral surgeon, he was impressed with the organization’s philosophy and focus on providing patients with the very best treatment and care – an approach he has embraced wholeheartedly to increase patients’ confidence, pride, and quality of life.
Dr. Biron holds unrestricted anesthesia licenses in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. During his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, he received in-depth and dedicated anesthesia training on a wide assortment of patients and surgical procedures. He maintains his office-based anesthesia certification through society-sponsored office inspection and fulfills the requirements to hold state anesthesia licensing.
Each year, he maintains membership and attends educational meetings provided by the New Jersey Dental Society of Anesthesiology and updated anesthesia-related lectures at the annual meeting of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. In addition, he continues to further his knowledge base by attending other multidisciplinary lectures pertaining to dentistry and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Biron received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Medical Doctor (MD) diplomas from the University of Pennsylvania in a highly selective six-year-long curriculum and residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
