Dr. Vera earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Minor in Biochemistry at George Mason University on a full scholarship for academic excellence and outstanding leadership in the community. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where she actively participated at school community events and served as the president of the Student Hispanic Dental Association at her school chapter. Dr. Vera is a firm believer in lifelong learning and community service. Her dedication to stay up to date with the latest techniques and technology in dentistry led her to attend local and national continuing education courses and to be a diligent reader of professional journals and publications. She takes pride on the quality of her work, which reflects her artistic skills, passion for dental excellence, and perfection.
Dr. Vera enjoys giving back to our community by volunteering at the Northern VA Community Clinic and helping those who do not have access to dental care. Dr. Vera is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Northern VA Dental Society. By being a member of the AGD, she is committed to meet continuing dental education course requirements, well above what is required by Virginia law.

Awful instead of providing services for clients she is more interested in leaving on time rushing through xray while not providing services. She was trying to sell me the deep clean before she even looked at my teeth. Then refused to treat me because I will not do the deep clean. I'm going to report this to my insurance company.

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by an amazing staff. While the office may look small as you go in, you're not there to really hang out and watch a movie, right? You're there to get great service on your teeth, and that's exactly what I received when I walked in. I've been to many dentists and never had such a great experience as I had with Dr. Vera-Lopez, from check-in to teeth cleaning to check-out. At this point in my life, I think I've found my dentist and will continue to come here to this hidden treasure of a dentistry practice!

I have been Dr. Vera's patient for almost 4 years. I'm very excited for her now that she owns her own dental practice. Even though its a little far from me, since I travel from Abrenty. I am sure there are great dentists in my area, but I'll continue to following her because she has an especial touch w/ hand skills. She has showed me multiple times that she can go beyond her needs to help patients. She is a perfectionist w/ her work & I have referred multiple patients to her & all come back telling me how happy they are for the referral. I love them!

Dr. Vera and her staff exceeded my expectations! As soon as you walk into the office, her staff makes you feel welcome, all my insurance benefits were checked in advance, so there was minimal waiting. Dr. Vera is very knowledgeable, gentle, and extremely friendly. What I like the most is that she truly cares about your teeth and you as a person. I need an implant and although I'm not thrilled about the procedure, I know I'm in great hands. It sounds funny, but I can't wait to see these people again. They are amazing!

Dr. Vera is an excellent dentist. She was very polite, took her time to explain my dental procedure and ensured I understood the process. She is very professional and has a lovely personality. Also, her entire staff is very professional, they make you feel special. I would definitely recommend Dr Vera to everyone. Thus far she is the best dentist I have ever had. Well done Dr Vera!! :)
