About Dr. Kayla Morris
Dr. Kayla Morris brings a blend of expertise and passion to her role at Lake Ridge Dental Associates. She earned her dental education at the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Morris’s journey into dentistry was inspired by her experiences as a dental patient. Having undergone braces, implants, and various other dental procedures, she developed a deep appreciation for the field and a desire to help others achieve their best smiles.
For Dr. Morris, the best part of her work is making patients feel confident and helping them smile again. She began her dental career in Southern Maryland and then migrated to Northern Virginia. Dr. Morris is Invisalign certified, a member of the ADA, MSDA, and NVDA.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Morris enjoys spending her free time cooking, reading, going to bookclub events and exploring new restaurants.
A fun fact about Dr. Morris that not everyone knows is that she speaks Japanese, adding another layer of connection with patients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Dr. Morris is excited to be part of the team where she continues to positively impact her patients’ lives.

I scheduled a dental cleaning. I did not see Dr. Morris. There was no mention of her, I did not notice her name posted in the office. The office location was tricky to find and the practice name was not on the door, another MDs name was posted. I arrived 24 mins early and waited a total of 36 mins before I was called back, there was only one other patient. The assistant was pleasant but was called back and forth from my exam room to another. I did not see him change gloves while moving back and forth. No covers on dental tools as in other offices, 18-20 X-rays were taken and gum measurement exam. The person measuring called out measurements then assessed the amount of bleeding (new to me). Finished his assessment, knew I had some bleeding but did not offer suctioning nor a place for clearing the blood from my mouth. Dentist comes in with a dirty surgical mask on. Looked like old blood stains. She informed me I would have to schedule a cleaning as the hygienist was booked. Won’t return.
