When Dr. Katie Ball is not busy teaching herself Michael Jackson dance moves from YouTube videos, she is hard at work fostering confident and beautiful smiles from Boston to Colorado, Mexico to Brazil. Native to the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Katie is thrilled to return home where she joins the Bling Dental! team with great enthusiasm.
Dr. Katie attended dental school at Boston University where she excelled in her clinical work and finished in the top of her class. After receiving her doctorate in dentistry, she was offered a position at a dental office in Colorado Springs, offering her the opportunity to work with a demographic she absolutely adores…children.While practicing in Colorado, Dr. Katie continued her education by taking classes in cosmetic dentistry and attending IPOC where she focused her study on correct and healthy bites. With this knowledge and experience, Dr. Katie will not only give you a beautiful smile, but a healthy one as well!
Dr. Katie grew up with a fear of the dentist. This emotion helps her to be empathic to those who may be apprehensive about getting dental work done, or those who are anxious while visiting the dentist. In conjunction with this, Dr. Katie’s dental work with children has helped provide her with the sensibilities to treat her patients with compassion and care, leading to their ultimate ease and comfort in her chair.
Dr. Katie comes to Oregon with a residual love for the Boston Red Sox, a longstanding passion for the Portland Trailblazers, and an obsession for the beach. She loves to travel and luckily her penchant for service has taken her abroad on three philanthropic mission trips, two in Mexico and one in Brazil, where she ultimately joined the Bling Dental! team.

I’m not the biggest fan of the dentist, but could not recommend Bling dentistry more! They got me in last minute, did a great job with the cleaning and explaining what they were seeing, and I love the fact they give free whitening and other benefits.

Fantastic! The hygienist was so kind and accommodating. I’m pregnant with sensitive gums and it had been 2 years since my last cleaning! She was amazing and there was no pain: she was so gentle and I left with a fresh clean mouth!

I am usually very nervous when I have to see my dentist. After my first visit at Bling Dental, Dr. Katie Ball I 'learned', there is no reason at all to be nervous. The whole team there is very friendly. They took the time to explain everything in detail. The whole atmosphere is perfect. It starts when you actually enter the office. It doesn't feel like a dentist office at all. I also had the feeling that the team is taking care of you and they want to do the best for you and not to make money. I only can recommend this office, I will definitely stay with this team, no reason for me to find another dentist, I almost feel comfortable when I am there. Definitely 5*****!

You get to sit in a massage chair during all oral procedures and you can watch movies during cleanings and other dental work. In addition I was able to get free whitening with my first visit!

Dr. Kathryn is an Angel! She cares and understand who the patient feels and tries to accommodate for the patient's relief. She does have a sense of humor and nice welcoming attitude.
