“Dr. Dewey is awesome. The clinic is very clean and all the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Dewey is quick to address concerns, and is also very personable. He remembers what his patients are up to and ensures patients are comfortable and confident with receiving dental care.
Appointment scheduling is very easy and Summit Dental provides adequate scheduling reminders. Additionally, I’ve never had to wait long to be seen once I check in. The hygienists are often ready to see me the second I walk in the door. Highly recommend! ”

About Dr. Jeffrey Dewey
Dr. Dewey’s passion is delivering exceptional dentistry with the latest techniques and equipment while making a connection with patients and helping them feel comfortable. He is a genuinely friendly person.
Dr. Dewey has a special interest in preventative care and the connection between oral health and whole-body wellness. He focuses on treating patients in the most gentle and efficient way possible.
Growing up in Michigan, Dr. Dewey attended Michigan State University and continued on to the University of Michigan for Dental School. Following dental school, he joined the United States Navy as a Dental Officer and did advanced training at Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (A.E.G.D.) program. Following his training, Dr. Dewey became the Dental Officer (O-3) aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69).
After his commitment with the United States Navy concluded, Dr. Dewey moved with his family to Portland in 2006. He owned and operated a large dental office in S.E. Portland for nearly a decade. When the opportunity to purchase Summit Dental presented itself, he jumped at the offer in March 2018. He loves his community and his patients. Dr. Dewey is thrilled doing what he loves!

At my scheduled cleaning appointment, I mentioned a sensitivity to a hot beverage. It was determined that there was a decay under my existing crown. This was Thursday night and I was leaving town for three weeks on Tuesday. Not only were they able to fit me in but Dr. Dewey allowed me to watch the process of how the crown was made. Fascinating!
Would recommend him any time.
