Love everything about this office. Everyone in the office is very friendly. Dr. Viau took the time to explain everything to me for both myself and both of my children's visits. They made sure to give me a priority plan for work we need done. Worked with my insurance and was knowledgeable about my insurance plan. So happy to have found this office.

Dr. Viau has practiced dentistry since 2003, after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. During her years at MCV, Dr. Viau was honored with awards in several areas of dentistry and was inducted into the prestigious national dental honor society, Omikron Kappa Upsilon. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She spent two years as a practicing Registered Nurse before pursuing her education in dentistry.
After receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Viau completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the United States Air Force. In 2006, the Viau Family relocated to North Carolina. Dr. Viau spent her first seven years in private practice at a state of the art dental office in Fayetteville, voted #1 by the community. Dr. Viau decided to move her practice to Apex to be closer to home and her community. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the North Carolina Dental Society, and is a member of several dental study clubs.
Dr. Viau is a very compassionate provider who strives to make each appointment pleasant and comfortable. Her nursing background enables her to treat patients of all ages with gentle expertise. She has a strong commitment to continuing education and has traveled throughout the country taking courses in cutting edge dentistry. The environment is peaceful and the staff friendly and professional. Dr, Viau was great and gentle (I am a wimp when going to the dentist). My second visit was a needed crown and I did not feel a thing. I am new to the area and very happy to have found such a great practice.

I always enjoy coming to the practice & seeing the very friendly staff. My visit went well, no pain in having 3 cavities refilled & didn't mind too much having a numb mouth for several hours afterward.

Very professional and nice staff who have a priority in ensuring a comfortable and painless visits. Dr Viau is amazing. She checked multiple times to ensure that I felt no pain and was comfortable, even stopping the procedure to allow more anesthesia to be applied to ensure there was no discomfort.
Wonderful experience overall, and I'm actually looking forward to visiting their office again.
