This was hands down the best experience I could have hoped for! I have avoided the dentist for years due to being terrified ad unfortunately got to the point of having some major pain. Lucky I was able to get an appointment right away and after meeting Dr. Soffer and his assistant Alissa all the worries I had about the dentist melted away. I had a wisdom tooth extracted without any pain whatsoever and felt at ease the entire time. I will be returning for my follow up and future visits!

He did a great job. I came in for the first time with a toothache. I had been neglecting my teeth so I was prepared for the worst. He told me it required a root canal.
All I knew about root canals was they were supposed to be painful. This wasn’t. I was out in under an hour and able to get to work only 15 minutes late. The numbness has worn off and there is only a little discomfort which should go away in a day or two.
He does do that thing where he talks to you with his hands in your mouth. Haven’t met a dentist who doesn’t.

Thank you so much for your effort in making my experience and teeth incredible. I have gone to “the best dentist in the area” before, but these dentists top anyone I’ve had in the past. So kind, personable, and skilled. I am lucky to have just joined this practice and plan to stay indefinitely. I had a cavity that was questionable and both docs came in to look at it and make sure it was worth filling. They took their time and took into consideration if it was worth the time/money instead of (like other docs) just filling it for money. I appreciate such honest people! Best dentist in the city 11/10 recommend.

My visit was great, all my visits are great! I love the early morning appointments! I'm in and out! I was a nervous wreck when I first started but Dr. Soffer and staff make you feel comfortable and are very patient. I just set up an appt. for my fiancé as well who hasn't been to the dentist in years like myself! This is definitely the place to go! I'm looking forward to my 3 month visit!

I've had 2 appointments with Dr. Soffer's office so far: a cleaning/consultation to see what needed work, and a follow up to begin taking care of some problem areas. Both began only a couple minutes after the official start time, which was a nice surprise (I expected a longer wait). Further, in both cases someone checked in with me right at the start time to let me know I'd be up shortly.
All of the staff were very friendly which went a long way toward putting me at ease. As someone who hadn't visited the dentist in 10 years, and had built up a pretty scary idea of what was waiting for me, I left both appointments feeling really good about my situation.
Colleen did my first day cleaning and x-rays, and really could not have been sweeter. She explained everything as she went, and just had a wonderful bedside manner overall. Dr. Soffer introduced himself toward the end of this appointment and went over a couple things that needed attention, complete with hand drawn pictures to illustrate. Ken has a great, lightheartedness about him and really succeeded in putting me at ease as we talked through future treatments.
For my second appointment, Dr. Soffer rebuilt an old cavity and placed a temporary crown on an old root canal while the permanent crown is being created at the lab. There isn't much you can do while you're in the chair other than look at the ceiling, but Ken does a great job of checking in periodically to make sure you're comfortable and all is well. 90 minutes and all done. It's amazing how far dental technology has come in 10 years.
I know I shouldn't have waited so long to make it back to the dentist, but I am glad the waiting caused me to find Dr. Soffer's practice. It feels like a lie to even suggest this, but I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment to continue getting my teeth back in great shape.

Dr. Soffer is excellent! He can do it all. Whatever your dental needs, he can take care of it. His work is painless. He makes sure that you're comfortable and takes the time to check "how you are doing" as he works. I highly recommend Dr. Soffer for the entire family. He has been my dentist for approximately 20 years and I have presented many challenges to his professional expertise. He has been able to conquer them all. I call him "the miracle worker."

Dr Soffer's been our dentist for years. He's a reassuring confident and friendly manner, his staff is great. He's been able to fix teeth we thought were hopeless. Highly Recommended. This time, what we thought was a broken tooth was a broken old old filling; fixed painlessly in 40 minutes.

Dr. Soffer is amazing. I am probably one of the worst dental patients ever...I'm terrified of the dentist and am not the easiest to work on. Everyone at the office is so nice and understanding and they are the only dentist office I am not scared to go to. If you're a coward or just want a dentist who is caring and great at what he does this is the office you want to go to!
