About Dr. Jose Abreu Perez

Dr. Jose Abreu Perez (Dr. Abreu) grew up in Brooklyn, NY. In his teens, he moved to the Dominican Republic, where he continued his education and obtained a bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) in 2002. Later, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Abreu recalls the impact his dental visits had on him as a child and how the treatment he received restored his emotional and social well-being. This experience inspired him to pursue dentistry and help change other people's lives, not only emotionally but also physically. He understands that many patients are fearful of dental care, so making his patients comfortable and relaxed is an important part of his mission. He provides cosmetic and restorative dentistry, root canal therapy, and surgical treatment. Dr. Abreu also has a dental implant research background, working with renowned dental specialists. He believes strongly in continuing education and the implementation of new state-of-the-art technology to improve his diagnostic abilities and tailor care to the needs of each individual patient. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Jose Abreu loves camping, hiking, swimming, and exploring the outdoors. His hobbies include yoga, jogging, photography, traveling, and driving through the countryside. At home, he enjoys caring for his many plants, cooking, and listening to music.
