Dr. Forbes is very thorough and careful. She explains what she is doing, especially if it might be painful. Her office seems well organized. They have handled all paperwork for my Delta Dental insurance plan. Waiting time has been very short. This was my first visit. Recommend highly.

I am so excited to be joining my father, Dr. James E. Forbes, in his Berkeley dental practice of over 30 years. I grew up around his office, and now dedicate myself to the same principles of efficiency, individualized treatment planning, and using the latest technologies to provide quality care to my patients. Our entire team is committed to your oral health, and I am so proud to be a part of it.
Before joining the practice, I earned my bachelor’s degree from UCLA and my D.D.S. from University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. When I’m not helping patients, I also enjoy running, swimming, salsa dancing, watching my bay area sports teams, spending time with my big family, and playing with my dogs.

I have had sever anxiety / PTSD regarding dental work and this was hands down the best experience I have ever had. Dr. Kristen was down to earth and kind and explained everything in such a concise simple way and made this trip a delight. The hygenist/assistant was lovely and gentle and the office staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this office!
