As someone who needs a lot of dental care, I don't think this doctor puts enough time or thought in my care. I've been a patient for over two years, I've gone to all my checkups on time, and more than once the doctor has caught issues way too late, and then recommended interventions that are way too invasive, so I've had to seek additional opinions and treatment elsewhere. Which is too bad, because I otherwise really like the place, staff, technicians, and hygienist.

Believe it or not, it was a FUN visit! It was snowing like crazy outside, which created a playful atmosphere throughout the office, which Dr. Goldman not only tolerated but joined in on.
This is pretty much all you need to know about Dr. Goldman; she's easygoing and friendly and has a sly sense of humor. Also, she's a wonderful dentist. Today, as always, I found myself relax as soon as I sat in the chair. Also, as always, she ended the visit with a gentle reminder about some practices to incorporate into my teeth care routine. And believe me, I'm going to do exactly what she suggested, because I know from long experience that her suggestions always make a difference.

I've been seeing Dr. Goldman for eight years now, and I can't say enough great things about her. She's warm and friendly and has a wonderfully dry sense of humor. But the main thing is that I trust her. As an example, two years ago she recommended that I get a night guard because I grind my teeth in my sleep. She gave me two options: 1) have her do the impression and such, or 2) purchase a night guard at a pharmacy. I asked about the prices, and it turned out that option #2 cost a fraction of option #1. Not many dentists would have ever even mentioned option #2!

Dr. Goldman and her staff are friendly, warm, wonderful. My filling was done in under an hour. They ask about my kids. I highly recommend this practice if you're looking for a great dentist in Park Slope!

Had several concerns when I waked in. They were all briefly addressed with referrals but not fixed at the exact moment. Paperwork was really confusing to fill out, took about 20 minutes just to do that. The dental hygienist rushed through my cleaning when I knew I should have been given a pretty through cleaning. Dr Goldman was very friendly. Probably would not go back because of the lack of attention to my individual needs.

I was in and out in 45 minutes for a cleaning, x-rays and a filling. No back-up of patients waiting in the lobby, they've been very good about scheduling and you get alerts via text to confirm the week before/day before. Very good dental care, attentive, comfortable setting and relationship with patients, no painful experiences. Has been my dentist for a year now, I'm very satisfied!

I have been going to Gentle Dental for over 1.5 years. Dr. Goldman is very competent and can diagnose my problems immediately. My dental works are always fast, painless (mostly), and the caps I have look good. Lastly, I like that the office staffs are always cheerful and joking with each other. It helps put me at ease whenever I'm in the chair.

Dr Lana is an excellent dentist. Her presense and patience level with a patient who has a great deal of anxiety about needles and teeth drilling helped me to relax. She is very gentle, has a great sense of humor and makes sure that she is working within the comfort level of her patient. I highly recommend her.

I've been seeing Lana for more than 10 years and absolutely love her and her staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I never feel rushed but am always seen on time or before my scheduled appointment. The dental care is excellent; Lana is careful not to encourage procedures that I don't need, where other dentists have been quick to recommend drilling and filling. My wife started seeing her a few years ago, and also has had a great experience.
