It seemed nice at the start but my cleaning and x-ray were rough and painful in a way that I wasn't expecting. The bedside manner of the Dr. I did see (which was not the one I booked with) was nice and friendly. However, things kept going wrong afterwards.
1) They apparently did not accept my insurance, despite it being listed on the website and the front desk saying "oh Cigna Dental is easy to process". Now I have a huge bill I wasn't expecting.
2) After the appointment, in the following days I experienced extreme swelling and tenderness in the back left of my mouth. I had to see a different dentist to get prescribed antibiotics and am still dealing with the issue a month later.

Very pleasant experience. I always hesitate when it comes to dental visits. I've had too many painful moments at other dental places. This time though I knew it would be different as soon as the friendly staff greeted me. The Dr. was so nice and he answered all my questions with a smile. I am definitely going back. This is how a dental visit is supposed to be! :-)

Dr. Markelle was very nice as well as the hygienist and office staff. The office was clean and they made me very comfortable. The wait time was short and the process was great. They scheduled my follow up appts & explained everything thoroughly.

Dr. Markelle and Sergey (the dental assistant) were really wonderful. Dr. Markelle was clear and communicative, told me how to signal if I had any discomfort, and was generally very friendly and kind. I experienced no discomfort during my teeth cleaning and the process for everything was quite smooth and efficient. I will 100% be returning for my next appointment!

The entire staff at Midtown Dental Group is nothing but lovely! The office is on a gorgeous block in Park Slope and the whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Benjamin and Alicia were efficient with my X-rays and Rovena the dental hygienist was so sweet and knowledgeable! Definitely looking forward to my next visit to catch up with my new dentist office!!
