Most pleasant dental experience I've had. Dr. Welch is extremely gentle while she works, stops frequently to ensure you have no discomfort and takes time to answer any questions and address all concerns, when needed.

Dr. Lauren Kurpis Welch attended Cornell University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2004. She went on to study dentistry at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and earned her D.D.S. degree in 2009. While studying at Columbia University, Dr. Welch received the Dean's Scholar recognition and scholarship for outstanding academic achievement. She was also honored with the Divisional Excellence in Stomatology award for exceptional achievement in the study of oral pathology and the oral cavity. Following graduation, Dr. Welch became a clinical fellow at Columbia University's New York Presbyterian Hospital where she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program.
Dr. Welch is a member of several professional dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Bergen County Dental Society, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Columbia University's 1852 society, one of the university's highest donor fundraising groups. She is one of the founding members of the American Academy of Oral Systemic Health. She is also the Director of the Tranquility Dental Program, a division of our practice which provides gentle and comfortable care to phobic and anxious dental patients.
