Dr. Raymond Huang – commonly known to patients as “Dr. Ray” – received his DDS degree at State University of New York, School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook. In his General Practice Residency at Stony Brook, Dr. Ray had extensive experience with surgical and restorative dental implants, bone augmentation procedures, full mouth rehabilitation cases including crown and bridge restorations, root canals, complex extractions, and treated various cases of gum disease.
Recognized for his commitment to the best dental care, exceptional skills and distinctive care to patients, Dr. Ray quickly became one of the most popular and highly regarded dentists in his residency.
Dr. Ray takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of care by attending continuing dental education courses in sophisticated and comprehensive dentistry throughout the year, which allows him to perfect his skills in all facets of dentistry and provide the most advanced dental care to the patients.
Dr. Ray is enthusiastic in promoting dental health and has dedicates much of his spare time to community service. He has participated in dental outreach in conjunction with the United States Public Health Service’s division of Indian Health Service, providing much needed surgical and restorative dentistry to an underserved population.

Dr. Huang was very professional but his front desk staff was horrendous. I ended up waiting over an hour and the staff was not apologetic or helpful. They seemed fazed by the waiting room full of patients and did not know how to keep the flow of patients. Dr. Huang and his dental assistants were amazing but I don't know if I'd go there again. Whenever I asked the front desk a question such as how long is the wait, when will the doctor check up on me after my procedure, I was left with blank stares. Additionally, I filled out all the required forms via zocdoc but was told to fill it out again in the office. All the questions were the same !!! Very frustrating and not efficient at all.

I visited Dr. Huang yesterday and as always, it was a great experience. Dr. Huang is the best dentist I have seen and he is truly caring, professional and knowledgeable. My whole family are big fans of him. Highly recommend!

The office is a bit small but very well decorated with plenty of sitting space and the most amazing instrumental playlist ever (really helps keep you calm while you're waiting to get poked with sharp objects). The receptionists is very welcoming and quick to get your information and set appointments, which to me is always a plus.
Dr. Ray is wonderful to say the least. There's a reason he's always busy and I don't mind waiting because I know I'll leave with all my questions answered and a new game plan to get my issue fixed. He's quick and straight to the point, but always very nice. I finally feel like my dental health will be taken care of and I'm already seeing improvements on what I thought was a lost cause.
The dental hygienist is truly the real gem of this place. She always comes out to inform me if the waiting time will be more than ten minutes and apologizes when she thinks I've waited too long. She remembers our previous conversations and always asks about me as a person which makes me feel like a welcomed patient. She works really well and just like Dr. Ray, she is very informative and always so helpful.
This place is the total package and my new standard for dental practices. If I could bring my entire family here I would, but alas I can only bring my husband and son which will have to do for now.
