I had an issue with a previous dentist in South LA that I was not happy with at all. A co-worker that felt as if they were spending hundreds on every visit referred me. I was diagnosed with some form of disease at my previous dentist that this dentist office never mentioned. Dr Farhadian explained everything she was doing; while also making sure I was comfortable during the process. I had 3 crowns replaced, with a deep cleaning that called for 6 or 8 shots, a 3.5 hour process. Her assistant was wonderful also, did a great job molding my crowns, making me feel like I was doing a very good job as a dental patient. Love this office

Dr. Farhadian attended University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), when she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology. She continued her education at UCLA and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S). Upon graduating from UCLA, She completed one year of General Practice Residency at GLA Veteran Hospital. She is a part time lecturer at restorative department of UCLA school of Dentistry. Dr. Farhadian is highly skilled in all aspects of general dentistry including (but not limited to) implant dentistry, porcelain veneers, porcelain crowns and prosthetics. When not in the office, Dr. Farhadain enjoys practicing Pilates and spending time with her daughter.

Like the rest of us, I hate going to the dentist. However, Dr. Farhadian made my visit SO peaceful, painless and dare I say fun! Everyone in the office is super nice and all of my questions were thoroughly answered. I will certainly be back and I hope to recommend some friends as well!

Dr. Farhadian seemed very knowledgeable and capable but this was our first visit and she immediately found 4 cavities even though I've never had a cavity in my life. I immediately saw this as a red flag. I had no pain and just wanted my teeth cleaned so I was pretty alarmed when she told me this. I have a regular dentist who I see yearly (circumstances called for me to branch out) and I'm definitely ritualistic in cleaning my teeth as recommended. I'm losing my dental insurance at the end of the year or else I would have asked for a second opinion, plus she showed me some black spots on my teeth and fixed a tooth I had cracked years ago, which was nice. I want to believe that I did the right thing in letting her give me 4 fillings on our first visit but I have a weird feeling in my gut about whether or not that was necessary and just a scheme to collect on my insurance money. They also charged me extra for a "deep clean" for the health of my gums but it was shorter and way less in depth than what I normally experience with my regular dentist. In the end I don't know what to think about this doctor, but for that reason I definitely won't be returning, nor would I recommend anyone else this clinic.

I think they just want your money. I have never heard from any dentist or hygienist in any of my previous dentists appointments suggest the things this dentist was suggesting. This was my first time and probably my last.

Dr. Michelle did veneers on 6 of my upper front teeth. I had old bindings that were partially broken & stained. I was very self-conscios about my smile. After the first visit, she did wax-up for me for I can see how my teeth will look like after veneer. After I approved she did veneer for me. I love my smile now & I can't stop smiling.

I had to have several teeth extracted & get a set of dentures. Dr. Michelle was very professional & skilled. My surgery appointment went really well. My dentures look real. She called me the night of surgery & followed up with me. I highly recommend LA Smiles Dent.
