About Dr. Jonathan Lee
Dr. Jonathan K. Lee was awarded a National Institute of Health (NIH) grant and furthered his education by conducting research on the relationship between oral bacteria and systemic disease at the UCLA School of Dentistry. Motivated by his desire to apply his research clinically to help people suffering from dental disease, he pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, which he received in 2005.
Upon obtaining his dental degree and license to practice in California, Dr. Lee embarked on a General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. There, he gained valuable practical skills in all facets of clinical dentistry within a rigorous Level 1 Trauma Center environment and strengthened his belief in treating patients with integrity and respect.
Dr. Lee has been practicing in Los Angeles for more than 20 years, most of them in the city of Montebello. Treating and caring for the hardworking local community compelled him to recently acquire an existing office that has served Montebello for more than 30 years.
He firmly believes in delivering quality care with a gentle touch, ethics, and transparency, and he greatly appreciates his patients for entrusting him with their dental health needs.
When he's not caring for his patients, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling with his wife and dog, Beany, as well as attending music concerts and UCLA football games.

Amazing! I haven’t been to a dentist in a long time, but Dr. Lee and his staff were incredible. Everyone made me feel so comfortable and cared for. Especially the gentleman at the end who did the polishing and flossing — he gave me great advice on how to keep up with my dental care at home. Highly recommend!

This provider is an excellent option for all the things which actually matter - experienced doctor with good advice, nice office manager to work with, good dental staff for any dental work, and convenient online scheduling of appointments (which is more uncommon than you think)

Incredibly friendly staff. In fact, front desk, Liz, not only has superb PR skills but was fantastic at reminding the doctor with recommended prescriptions.
Dr. Lee, overall nice and very gentle. Answered all my concerns and suggested additional dental alternatives to my oral issues. Would definitely recommended.
Office is in a safe vicinity. Right next to social security office, gym, and a few eateries (bakery and a few restaurants). Plenty of parking and overall very safe.

I think it’s safe to say I found a doctor I want to stay with for the long run. The staff is friendly and the Dr is super nice. He addressed all my issues and concerns. His hands are very light. They are very straight forward here, as in, they don’t try to upsell anything. Definitely recommend. I will be coming here from now on.

Fantastic choice. I drove a bit out of the way just because the reviews for Dr. Lee and his office were glowing, and it was well worth it. I was able to get my wisdom tooth extracted on the same day, and Dr. Lee was honest and communicative and did not enforce that I needed to remove a tooth (or more).

Dr. Lees office was great. Very friendly welcomed. Taking x-rays wasn’t as painful as other places. Dr. Lee had great bedside manners. He introduced himself and wasn’t in a rush. He went over the X-rays explaining everything, and made sure to address all my questions. Dr. Lee did my teeth cleaning as well. He made sure it wasn’t too uncomfortable. Liz gave the warmest welcome when I came in and it was the best first impression I’ve ever gotten from a dentistry and I’m TERRIFIED of seeing a dentist. Jamie was a very calming presence with frequent and comforting affirmations like “are you okay?” and “almost done” throughout my x-rays and cleaning. Even though I had to reschedule for my filling, I was still taken care of and checked-in on by Dr. Lee even though he was obviously busy with all his patients but you never would know with how calm and organized he was; as a former salesperson, you can tell he was collected under pressure with multiple clients. Great experience overall and that’s saying a lot coming from sending that dreads going to the dentist. Amazing staff.

I was in search for a good dentist since it was a while since I have gone to get any work done. Luckily I found Dr. Lee on Zocdoc and am super happy I did. Dr. Lee suggested I get a deep cleaning which I went with and was able to knock out the whole cleaning super quick but with care. He will now be my new regular dentist for all my work moving forward.

It's my first time to see Dr Lee due to an intolerable pain in my bottom tooth. He is very detailed, professionally friendly and explained the whole root canal procedure. I was amazed how knowledgeable he is in his practice of dentistry. He did the procedure so gently and I was very comfortable with the whole process.
