About Dr. Mani Alikhani
Dr. Alikhani is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University, completed a Certificate in Orthodontics at New York University, and holds a PhD from Boston University. He is the founder and Director of the Consortium for Translational Orthodontic Research, a private center dedicated to advancing Orthodontics. His research, funded by national and international foundations, focuses on skeletal formation, tooth movement, bone response to mechanical stimulation, and "smart" orthodontic appliances. He developed Micro-Osteoperforations (MOPS), a method that reduces treatment time by as much as 60% by introducing tiny holes through the gums into the bone, increasing bone remodeling and accelerating orthodontic tooth movement. This technique has been featured on ABC News, various radio shows, and published in books and articles. He is regularly invited to teach his methods at universities worldwide.

Dr A is excellent in every way! He explains very well and works with my solution. It is hard to find "nice" & "smart" in the same individual, but it does happen & Dr A is that person! He is also a professor so he's aware of new developments while bringing experience to the table. A dentist who brings their own children here recommended him so that is a big thumbs up!

Doctor Alikhani is wonderful! Both he and Dr. Teixeira are not only dedicated to their field, but are also pioneers, inventors and world-renowned educators in the field of orthodontics. My progress is faster than expected, and my overall transformation is noticed by everyone! The entire staff is courteous & welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Alikhani & CTNP orthodontics!
