Dr.Beshar was fantastic in answering all of my questions and providing a clear and thorough explanation for what was going on with my teeth, rather than just a treatment plan and out the door. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a family practice type of feeling in the city!

I'm someone who has a lot of anxiety when it comes to the dentist - visits are never easy for me. I had to go in for an emergency appointment and it was my first time going in to a NYC location. Right from the beginning, Dr. Beshar's and his staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. They helped calm my nerves, were very friendly + accommodating, and they made a not-so-fun procedure seem not-so-bad. The office was incredibly clean and they were very skilled at what they do! For someone who doesn't like going to the dentist, my visit here was one of the BEST I have ever had.

More about Dr. Marc Beshar, DMD
Dr Beshar’s talents have been featured in many publications including The New York Times, INC Magazine, Newsweek, and Working Woman. In 1990, he was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.), an organization dedicated to continuing dental education. He has completed the Aesthetic Dentistry Residency at Louisiana State University, The Dawson Master’s Forum in Florida, and the eight levels of the Kois Center for Restorative Excellence in Seattle, Washington.
He has had extensive training in Implant Dentistry at the New York University Implant Training Center, with Dr. Carl Misch of The Misch International Implant Institute, with Dr. Norm Ickert at the Ickert Dental Implant Centre, with Dr. Keith Phillips and Dr. John Kois at the Kois Institute as well as many other courses in bone grafting and computer generated technology to aid in implant placement.
Besides teaching at the Pankey Institute and The Kois Center, he has lectured at NYU, Columbia Dental School, and local study clubs. He is the founder and currently the President of the Manhattan Kois Study group and the Past President of the Columbia Study Club. He regularly attends meetings and teaches courses to other dentists.

The pre-registration process was thorough and included an in-depth dental and medical history. I was seen right away upon entering the office, despite being 30 minutes early. The hygienists were polite, friendly, and kind. Dr. Beshar has a gruff sense of humor, but provides excellent advice and care. As someone that is very nervous about dentist appointments, I feel comfortable returning to this office in the future.

I went in for what I would consider to be an emergency because a veneer from a front tooth broke on a hard piece of food leaving me with a rather embarrassing and very exposed snaggle tooth. So after spending a bit of time researching dentists in my area, I chose to entrust Dr Beshar with putting a smile back on my face and I was not disappointed. Not only did he patch me up in no time, but I was treated to a demonstration of some pretty cool technology in dentistry as I watched my new tooth being milled out of a tiny ceramic block inside a futuristic-looking machine...
After seeing Dr Beshar and his amazing team, I was able to walk out of the office with a smile better than the old one.

I needed a second opinion since my previous doctor wanted to drill now wholes into my teeth. He kindly assessed them and deemed them not critical and drilling - as of now - unnecessary. A doctor who finally shares my belief that drilling should be the very last resort and not the norm!

Dr. Beshar gets raving reviews for a reason. His manner is incredibly friendly, yet he is very thorough and took lots of time to explain everything and answer any questions I had. Additionally, everyone else on his staff was very pleasant and helpful. I am very pleased to have found Dr. Beshar and his practice.
I can't say I look forward to going back to the dentist, but I know I'll be in good hands and well taken care of.
