About Dr. Michelle Steinberg

Dr. Michelle Steinberg is originally from New York and grew up on Long Island. She completed her undergraduate education at UCLA (Go Bruins!), where she earned her B.S. in Biology, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Departmental Honors. She is proud to have earned her dental degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry (Go Blue!), the #1 ranked dental school in the country. During dental school, she served as the schoolwide student body president, worked as a clinical tutor to other dental students, and founded the Jewish Student Dental Association. She graduated with a departmental award in Periodontics and the Pierre Fauchard Academy Future Leaders in Dentistry Award. Following dental school, Dr. Steinberg returned to Los Angeles to complete her residency training at the Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center in Long Beach, California. Born missing several adult teeth, she spent much of her early life in the dental chair. With each visit to the dentist, she watched her smile transform—and with it, her self-confidence. She understands how it feels to be the one in the dental chair, and has made it her mission to provide each patient with a positive dental experience similar to her own. Outside of the office, Dr. Steinberg likes to watch University of Michigan football and UCLA basketball games. Her idea of a perfect day is: taking a morning workout class, grabbing a coffee with friends, spending time outside, cooking dinner, and getting froyo for dessert.
