“I cannot say enough good things about Coliseum Dental and Dr. Scott Pope! I recently completed a dental restoration and the results are amazing. Dr. Pope had to pull two baby teeth (yes, I'm over 40 and still had them!), placed dental implants, and once they healed, he gave me beautiful implant crowns. The entire process was smooth, and I felt well taken care of every step of the way.
He also treated my mother-in-law, who needed some extractions and was fitted for a partial denture--and she couldn't be happier with the results. Dr. Pope has a great bedside manner-friendly, professional, and genuinely puts you at ease.”

A San Francisco Bay Area native, Dr. Pope is committed to producing dazzling, healthy smiles for his patients, and he and his staff will provide you with personalized care in a friendly, professional manner. With extensive experience and education, Dr. Pope is one of the best comprehensive care dentists.
Dr. Pope offers not only cosmetic and restorative dentistry procedures, but also effective treatments for TMJ disorders, dental anxiety (through sedation techniques), and sleep apnea. He is also able to provide same day porcelain restorations with CAD/CAM technology and offers various sports dentistry treatments.
He then continued his dental education at Northwestern University Dental School, where he received his doctorate in dental surgery (DDS) in 1993. Dr. Pope has made it a point to continue his education, accumulating more than 1,000 hours of advanced education since completing his doctoral program. This additional education further reflects Dr. Pope’s dedication to providing you with the latest advanced cosmetic and restorative dental treatments.
Considered an expert in his field, Dr. Scott Pope is the Head Team Dentist for the Saint Mary’s College athletic programs. He also was the “Ask the Expert” dentist for KPIX Channel 5 television and KCBS News Radio in Contra Costa County from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, Dr. Pope was rated one of Americas Top Dentists 7 years in a row!

My experience at Coliseum had always been positive. Dr. Pope and his staff clearly explain the condition of your teeth and any scheduled procedure. They are patient and will take whatever time necessary to answer all your questions. Your comfort is a concern and during a procedure they will always try to put you at ease.
