In Chicago since 1986, Dr. Ashley purchased her downtown practice within 11 months of graduating and has been in the same spot ever since. It is across from Chicago’s famed Millennium Park and the beautiful Lakefront. Dr. Ashley is the national media spokesperson for Crest Pro-Health products.
Dr. Ashley enjoys the thrill of new daily challenges, the tasks of healing mouths and rebuilding teeth, and getting to know new people. Her hobbies include personal fitness training, yoga, reading, golf, travel, Equestrian-Hunter Jumper Riding and Dressage.

The dentist and her staff were very nice...but over 2 weeks ago I went there for 2 small fillings. She numbed the bottom fine and she got the top numb, but when I put a hand to my face, there was a ping pong ball-sized lump in my cheek. I told them, they touched it and said it was just the novicaine and that is would go down shortly.
About 15 minutes after I got back to work, I have the giant swollen cheek and a bruise starting. Lovely. And I was flying to visit my mom that weekend and buy a wedding dress. Wasn't fun to explain my painful, swollen, purple face to people all weekend.
I had already scheduled an appointment with my main doctor the next day, and had her take a look. She said that Dr. Ashley had nicked a vein when giving me the injections, and I had bled out into my cheek. She told me to keep icing it (as it HURT since its a giant bruise on my face), and that it would be ugly for quite a while. Today is the first day I've been bruise-less.
I sent them a message a day or two after the incident telling them all that had happened, and I have yet to hear back....
If they had told me what it was so that I could expect it, and apologized, I would have dealt ok. But they just said it was the novicaine... I still haven't heard back.

Dr Ashley is a must if you require dental treatment. Everyone in her office from Sharon's welcome at Reception, through Robyn the superb hygienist, to Dr Maria and Tiffany her assistant, they are all so professional and more importantly to me, warm, informative and completely at ease.
I live in the UK and will only use Dr Ashley and her team.

I was the first appt so as long as it took me to fill out the necessary paper work was the length of my wait. Dr. Ashley is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. She's pleasant and humble and most importantly, knowledgeable. However, I had a few issues with her staff and office. The wait room is teeeeeny teeny tiny, bordering on claustrophobic. Some of her equipment (decor and furniture), while still in working order, seemed a bit outdated. Her staff weren't particularly knowledgeable or patient. I had more than a few questions that they couldn't readily answer. The woman who did my x-rays ignored the fact that I was in very real pain during this process, saying "it's supposed to be uncomfortable" and visibly huffing about it. If not for her staff and my slight discomfort at her surroundings, Dr. Ashley would get 5 stars.

Dr. Ashley is a phenomenal dentist. I've been a patient for almost 10 years. Her interest in and attention to your comfort during procedures never waivers. Dr. Ashley's entire team is curteous, professional and warm. It's an all around great dental practice. I recommend Dr. Ashley to every one; particularly to those who fear dentists and/or those who are embarrassed by how long it's been since their last dental check-up. Put simply, I LOVE my dentist! (and I say this 24 hours after a root canal)

Dr. Ashley was great. The whole team was in fact. Electra did my initial consult, Dr. Ashley came in for the full exam and to discuss my mouth's future, and finally Michelle did my cleaning. Michelle was an angel: after not having been to the dentist in *cough* years, she made my mouth feel healthy again (after a good long workout first).
