It went smoothly. I arrived on time. All the documentation from ZocDoc that I'd filled out online was there. The front desk people were pleasant and seemed efficient. I was called back within 3 minutes or so. Dr. Carl appeared promptly, examined me, took an X-ray of the tooth I'd had problems with, and returned within perhaps 10 minutes to propose a solution. We agreed; he proceeded. He kept me informed of what he was doing, which I appreciated. Afterwards, I scheduled another appointment; the process went smoothly. The next day, I received a call asking if I was doing OK--something my other health care provides haven't done. Another quick comment: His office is modern and clean, but it doesn't have some of the atmospheric "bells and whistles" I've seen other dentists promoting. It's a nice dental office, not a spa. But that's not a drawback for me; in choosing providers, I look for experience (and ratings of skills and outcomes) above nice but less important amenities.
