Dr. Mercado received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The University Mayor of San Simon and she was enrolled in a Postdoctoral program and Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UCONN Health Center at the University of Connecticut from 2008 to 2010. Dr. Mercado is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Mercado is originally from Bolivia and is fluent in Spanish. Her multicultural work experience and education provides for a wide range of knowledge and exceptional performance as a Dentist.

She's the first dentist to explain everything in detail (the "why's" and "how's"). She was patient, answered questions thoroughly, and was super-pleasant. And I was escorted to the patient room as soon as I walked in.

Dr. Romina Mercado and her team were great. Super friendly and ushered me right in when I arrived. They checked my COVID risk assessment, followed with questions, provided hand sanitizer, and checked my temperature. I felt very safe here with their policy and they were dressed head to toes with PPE.
The staff were gentle with my teeth. I doubt I am the first to admit I don’t have the best flossing habits but I’m trying to fix that and the team did not make me feel awkward or ashamed for it. They were genuinely there to help me improve myself. I will be back for future dental procedures!

This was my first visit with Dr. Mercado and she was amazing. She was very informative and made sure I was getting the best treatment need. Being that I am in the beginning of my second trimester she informed me of all things that need to be done and that they were safe and she was very patient. First time I have ever felt comfortable and at ease in a dentist office!

I don’t recommend this doctor to any one she ruined my teeth.i went to her for cleaning and filing and she gave me sweat sensitive teeth even the filling moving up and down when I’m eating .and she asked me for other money ,,,the price so high and the service so unprofessional ,if there’s under zero rate I would give her

Dr. Mercado is super sweet. I am always nervous going to the dentist and even more so when I am visiting with a new dentist. She quickly took away any reservations I had and made me feel at ease. I definitely would recommend her!

The Doctor was great and the assistant was very sweet and courteous, very profesional. However, the lady sitting at the front desk had an attitude I didn’t like. If it wasn’t because of her I would had given a 5 Stars rating.

Dr. Mercado is a very professional and kind lady who knows how treat her patients. I've seen her two times and I have not noticed anything that could be worth criticizing. Her staff is also very kind, welcoming and professional.

There was a mix up with the appointment time, I scheduled for 8:00am which was an option on Zocdoc but the office didn't actually open until 9. This might just be a set up mishap with Zocdoc. Everything else went well. The office was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. The doctor was really nice and made sure I understood all the procedures and answered all my questions patiently. Happy to have found a good dentist so close to me! ??
