Michael Katzap DDS graduated with a DDS 17 years ago. After completing four years of hospital training and a comprehensive fellowship in the placement and restoration of dental implants, Dr. Katzap opened his practice in Rego Park focusing on comprehensive cosmetic restoration of smiles.
Care Philosophy: Whether it's time for a routine checkup and cleaning or you want to learn more about teeth whitening, our personalized and comprehensive dental practice can help. We provide care in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. English, Hebrew, Russian and Spanish are spoken in the office. Evening and weekend appointments are available for your convenience. Treatment can also be provided under sedation for a completely relaxed oral healthcare experience.

He explained to me each step in the procedure, and made sure I was completely numb before pulling my tooth. I had no pain whatsoever, just as promised, which is wonderful considering the last time I had work done without being sedated by another dentist was a nightmare. I've had nightmarish experiences with other dentists, but Dr. Katzap is really awesome. He's gentle, patient, and HE USES LASERS instead of intimidating drills. Best of all, he's a fun guy and he's really easy to talk to. Patricia at the front desk is also a delight. I highly recommend them.

Excellent dentist, he makes sure the job gets done properly! Dr. Katzap has very modern equipment and training, and I would recommend anyone to visit him for their dental needs. I also enjoy the printout they provide based on your insurance, so it is abundantly clear what procedures covered and by how much (I find clarity in health care becoming harder to find these days). It can be a bit tricky figuring out how to enter the building for your first visit, so be sure and ask. 10/10!

Michael is a really considerate, professional and easy going doctor. He gave me good suggestions and tried his best to solve my problems. Also the receptionist was always smiling and nice to me. After the treatment, I also got a hand written-ed thank you card which makes my experience perfectly.
