Dr. Bhushan was born and raised on the north side of Chicago, and realized early on that she had an intense passion for serving others and decided Dentistry was the perfect path for her while starting out as a dental assistant. Dr. Bhushan obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2008, and is a published author fostering her interests in both cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. Entitled, “Long-term effects of orthodontic therapy on the maxillary dental arch and nasal cavity” was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and highlighted the importance of orthodontics in young adolescents. As you may have guessed, Dr. Bhushan is a firm believer in continuing education, always striving to be at the cutting edge of dental technology and is constantly attending seminars and courses to expand her knowledge base. Patient comfort is the first priority for Dr. Bhushan. She is an advocate of healthy beautiful smiles, which begins with being in a comfortable, soothing environment. She is open to discuss any past, present fears, while making sure patients are fully knowledgeable about their complete oral health. She believes in the highest standard of care and will definitely go above and beyond to achieve those goals for her patients.
Currently, Dr. Bhushan maintains memberships with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD), American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE), American Dental Association (ADA), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), and the Chicago Dental Society (CDS). Aside from dentistry, Dr. Bhushan has completed the Chicago Marathon, Chicago Triathlon, and enjoys traveling, yoga, tennis.
