Dr. Hunte is originally from New Hampshire and moved to New York City to complete her residency at Columbia University after completing her Dental Degree at The Medical College of Virginia.

Dr. Hunte is a Spear Education devotee and visits the Center or Advanced Dental Education yearly. She also belongs to a Spear Study Club.
