Dr. Atish K. Patel received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UT Dentistry – San Antonio. Dr. Patel went on to further his studies by completing a one-year General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas hospital in Bronx, NY and has been practicing in the New York City area since that time.
Dr. Patel strives to make each and every dental visit a wonderful experience by creating a personally tailored visit and delivering the highest quality of care. When not practicing dentistry, he enjoys hiking or simply biking around town and is a big fan of fiction novel books!

Ive never had a better experience than here! Everyone was so nice and the way they explained everything so slowly and clearly i was just so pleased. Didn’t get any bad vibes like other dentists in Midtown who are such scammers if not careful. This place deserves more than a 5 star rating!!!

I have been to many dentists before, but none of them are aware of my clutching my teeth at night. Only midtown dental group raised this issue to me. Overall, I think they are very technically strong, and great as a dentist. However, I do feel think they could have been more empathetic, and caring. I do feel they blame me for not flossing my teeth enough, and somewhat get annoyed when I dont take good care of my teeth.

This practice is top-shelf, start to finish. Everyone I interacted with was professional and personable. It does not get any better. I’m a clinical practitioner; I know. Dr. Armstrong was the dentist at this location and she was absolutely wonderful—attentive, knowledgeable, great communication skills. Dental hygienist Tiana was empathic and efficient. I feel really fortunate to have found this practice. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I never write reviews but Dr. Patel and my experience there was great. I arrived early to my appointment and they were able to get me in right away. The hygienist did a thorough cleaning and Dr. Patel explained my X-rays in detail and spent time discussing Invisalign with me/answered all my questions. I will definitely be going back.

Great appointment and I found my new dentist!
The only issue is that there was miscommunication on the time of the appointment between Zocdoc & the office, but it wasn't a big deal at the end of the day :)

Nice and helpful Front Desk, dental assistant and dentist take their time with you, didn’t feel rushed and were thorough with talking about teeth health and next steps. 3D scan of your teeth was also helpful as they talked through areas that needed work. Made sure I did not leave with any questions.
Will be coming back here for future cleanings and more aggressive work.

Dr. Patel is absolutely fantastic. He is extremely thorough and professional. I was very nervous about having a cavity filled and he put me at ease right away, answering all my questions and taking his time. He is incredibly friendly and has a spectacular bedside manner. He's obviously extremely knowledgeable and is an all around wonderful dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and all the hygienists and staff at the office. Top notch!
