The ROOT CANAL KING! No pain!! And let me tell you: I am a huge baby and I am even afraid of needles! Dr. Yu calmed me down, reassured me constantly, and thoroughly explained all procedures. Can I repeat that I felt NO PAIN during a root canal!!! OMG - please - stop reading, and just book your appointment. I promise you will be so happy!! All of the staff there are so amazingly sweet, kind, and considerate. From the front desk staff, to the dental hygienists, to the billing - all top notch. The office is also very modern and clean - IPads, flat screens, and panoramic X-rays. The reviews are true! Love this place!

Dr. Paul Yu is exactly the kind of dentist our patients love. He is caring, gentle and one of the most qualified dentists you will ever meet in the greater Philadelphia region. A graduate of Florida International University, the University of Florida College of Dentistry, and the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Dr. Yu is an exemplary academic, which has helped him in his approach to patient treatment and continued care. Dr. Yu is also a proud volunteer at the Acorn Clinic providing dental care to the rural community in Alachua county and a sponsor of the Molar Miles for Kids Foundation to benefit children with cranio facial abnormalities. Dr. Yu is also a volunteer for Vietnam Missions, with the East Meets West Foundation. Certified by the Florida and Pennsylvania Board of Dentistry and a member of Psi Omega honor society, Dr. Yu has been a welcomed addition to Carp Dental Associates since 2001.

Take into account that I, like many, have some serious dentistry anxiety.
That being said, Dr. Yu and the team at CCED made me feel more comfortable than I have ever felt at the dentist. I needed an extraction and had some real pain coming in. They were quick, compassionate, explained each step so I could make informed choices, and were incredibly transparent about how the pricing would work. Having someone walk through the details of the insurance before any major work was done was a huge relief. I left feeling better and ready to be more proactive about other dental needs by returning to Dr. Yu and the team.
