I have been going to Dr. Hanna for over 30 years. I trust him, and his highly professional staff, with my dental care. Dr. Hanna works quickly and professionally, but is also very personable and friendly.

Great office, warm, helpful and professional front end staff, the professionals who treated me, Dr. Hanna and the X ray technician assistant (?) from Afghanistan, were also both excellent. The X ray process was longer than I had expected probably because it was thorough and detailed, but the X-ray professional made it very pleasant and relaxing, kudos to soft skills with great technical ones. Overall pleased with the treatment.

Dr. Hanna was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. He is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he served two years in the U.S. Air Force Dental Corps. Since that time, he has been in private practice in Olde Towne Alexandria.
His expertise is in all phases of dentistry (root canals, extractions, fillings, crowns, bridges, and esthetic dentistry, including bonding, bleaching, and porcelain laminates). He takes great joy in doing extreme or minor dental makeovers. Dr. Hanna has taken numerous continuing education courses to provide his patients with the latest technology and is on the cutting edge when it comes to innovative dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Academy of Clinical Dentistry, and the Virginia Dental Association.
Besides dentistry, his interests include golf, tennis, skiing, boating and just about anything that keeps him outdoors.
His philosophy of practice is simple: Treat people as you would want to be treated.

Dr. Hanna actually did my cleaning! Despite him finding a cavity (my first ever in life!!!!!! ) the experience was great. The front desk staff is polite, patient, and thorough. Which was very helpful since I couldn't quite get right my insurance info.
She stuck with me and called my insurance company to figure it out.
Dr. Hanna asks questions and is (duh) knowledgeable. The office has been in his family since his father! It is on the second floor of the row home, with convenient street parking out front. The office itself has a nice sitting area, 2 or so consultation rooms and 2 exam rooms from what I saw.
I will definitely be back, although I am putting off this cavity situation :)
