About Dr. Afsaneh Shahidi
Dr. A. Shahidi graduated from Howard university school of dentistry in Washington DC, and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program through the Lutheran Medical Center, located in MD. She has experience in all aspects of dentistry for adult and children including clear aligners, crowns and root canal therapy. She has continued to update her knowledge and skills in keeping with the latest dentistry through continuing education courses.
She believes in providing patients with the best quality of care in a relaxing and comfortable environment. It is her goal to build a great relationship with each patient. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include hiking, traveling, drawing and cooking.

Honestly love The Tooth Doc! From my first visit the front office staff was so kind and sweet! That same day the doctors made me a treatment plan specifically for my needs and concerns! They have two tech devices like 3D scanning which was cool and are so personable and educated in what they do. Never felt so comfortable at a dentist truly.

I came to the Tooth Doc after breaking one of my back teeth and was worried I might lose it. After a thorough exam, Dr. Shahidi explained that the tooth could be saved with a crown and took the time to answer all of my questions.

I've always been scared of coming to the dental office. I've had a traumatic experience, nonever after seeing Dr. Shahidi I felt safe and she was so nice and reassuring.
