He was very thorough in explaining why my jaw was in pain and what was necessary to fix it. Very clear and kind. Actually the whole staff was incredibly warm and inviting. I will definitely be coming back.

Dr Yeung and his staff have the best dental practice I have ever been to. I have enormous post-cancer anxiety when I have to visit a dentist, and this dentist/staff makes the patient feel VERY comfortable. They are very caring, and go above and beyond.
No wonder I fly 1,000 miles to visit this dentist several times per year! Dr Yeung is a modern dentist. By that, I mean he is up-to-date on modern day issues, has excellent credentials, and is quite brilliant in his treatment plans. I would refer anyone to this practice.

Dr. Petrus Yeung’s passion towards dentistry started fifteen years ago. Dr. Yeung immigrated to the states with his family from Hong Kong in 1997. Soon after his arrival, he attended University of Houston for his bachelor degree of biochemistry. While being a full-time student, he worked as a dental assistant for his uncle, Dr. Joe M Fung, who has been practicing dentistry for more than twenty years in Houston. During those years as Dr. Fung’s assistant, Dr. Yeung found his love, passion and purpose in dentistry. Upon graduation, he went to Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health for his DMD degree. However, his passion did not stop in Arizona. When the University Of Texas Health Science in San Antonio called him for the general practice residency program, he jumped right in without any hesitation. During the residency, he advanced his skills in wisdom teeth extraction, IV sedation and dental implants. He also had the opportunity to treat health compromised patients, including cancer and HIV positive patients. Dr. Petrus Yeung enjoys food, sports and community service. He volunteered his time and knowledge at several Give Kids Smile events including the one in Texas and Thailand. His patients always appreciate his tender care, patience and passion.

I started seeing Dr. Yeung about 6 years ago at another location and followed him to this Sunset location. He extracted my remaining wisdom teeth painlessly under IV sedation after a painful wisdom teeth extraction experience done by another dentist 8 years ago. I wished I had known Dr. Yeung at the first place so I didn't have to go through this twice. I was well taken care of since then and never changed dentist.

The environment is neat and clean; Dr. Yeung and his assistant are professional and easygoing as always which to a great extent I am quite sure have eased my anxiety every time before getting a bad teeth treated.
