Dr. Philip Choi is an excellent addition to the SSFDC family. His treatment planning style and training are consistent with that of our current doctors, providing our patients with consistency of care. In addition to our in-house specialists, Dr. Choi can help manage a variety of oral health issues for patients of all ages.
Dr. Choi grew up in San Mateo, California, attending the College of San Mateo and UC Davis for his undergraduate degree. Like many of our doctors, he attended the University of the Pacific from 2014 to 2017, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
In addition to his formal education, Dr. Choi has attended continuing education in the fields of CAD-CAM technology.
Outside of work, Dr. Choi enjoys building things, experimenting with graphic design, playing basketball, and improving his Mandarin. He hopes to be able to speak five or six languages someday! He also enjoys the people, laid back culture, excellent food, proximity to so much nature, and of course the weather that the Bay Area provides.
