About Dr. Russell Young

A native of San Francisco, Dr. Young enjoys all aspects of dentistry to help patients achieve optimum oral health and beautiful smiles for a lifetime. Dr. Young started his dental career by opening a practice in Laurel Heights in 1977. In 1996, this practice moved to its current location under the name Star Dental. It was rebranded to Symphony Dental Studio in 2022 but kept its founding principle: to deliver comprehensive and compassionate dental care in a modern state-of-the-art practice. Dr. Young believes in communicating openly with his patients to not only educate them on their treatment but to ease any anxiety or concern. Patients are always treated like family as Dr. Young and his staff work with patients to keep their teeth and gums healthy. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the San Francisco Dental Society. Dr. Young is a certified Invisalign® provider.
